wiqi (it) is a Peruvian conceptual artist, night creature, CLUBKID, performer, and DJ who plays with its looks and sounds to celebrate queer nightlife through pure playfulness. Heavily rooted in its childhood experiences, its performance work revolves around recreating the monsters, creatures, and insects it used to play with as a kid. Working primarily with latex and unconventional materials, its sets are as unpredictable as a playground: childlike and frenetic, mixing hardtransss, mákina, latincore, latintek, and other high-energy beats into an explosive sonic experience.
